Grade 9 Tamil Paper - Students Need to Know Their Subject
Grade 9 Tamil Paper - Students Need to Know Their SubjectDuring the second term of Tamil studies in the school, we have to prepare for the development of the Tamil language. On the last week of July, we started a new series of Tamil language papers. This is a very challenging phase and also gives students a chance to use the new writing skills they have developed. It is always exciting to come up with new course material as this gives the students a unique chance to showcase their creativity. The entire class has participated in writing their paper and it was very interesting for me to watch them write. Since it is going to be a college-level paper, I decided to provide the students with a template that they can use. This term, I provided the students with three categories of paper. They were; first term Tamil paper, second term Tamil paper and third term Tamil paper. These papers were not difficult to write as most of the students who joined us are used to writing in Tamil language. I encourage them to develop this ability further. We need to understand that they do not write like the children do. When it comes to reading, they need to study the grammatical rules properly. In grade 9, students need to be familiar with the basic rules of English and the writing style of English and how the two concepts affect each other. I have provided the students with several easy English vocabulary words so that they do not find it difficult to translate their ideas. Students can use the translations as reference points and then learn the details about the word and its usage. The second year language paper for Tamil is divided into four sub categories. The students have to prepare their research papers and compare their findings with each other. They also need to draw an art to compare their own findings with the research of other students. The third category of paper is the seminar paper, which has three sections. It has two parallel modules that the students need to understand separately. Then the students have to learn how to carry out cross-country trips and their objectives and how to map out a self-study route. The last term paper in Tamil includes two short papers, one on world religions and the other on the vocabulary and related subjects. The students have to put together the information given in the papers in order to identify the similarities and differences between religions. The final subject will involve presenting a summary of their research. Students have to follow these suggestions in order to successfully write their term papers.
